We SPECIALIZE in beginner Dancers of all ages!  

Here are some steps to get you started on your dance journey.

First, Select your classes based on the following elements:  

- Dance style you want to learn
- Your dance level
- A day and time that fits your family schedule  

Signing Up:  

- If paid online, with a gift certificate, or coupon, bring proof with you to your first class along with your completed Studio T Dance dance waiver. Arrive early and give to your instructor to the instructor and enjoy class.  

Day of Registration:   
- Arrive early to class and bring with you a completed dance waiver and payment (or proof of payment if you paid online). Turn in to Reception or your teacher and enjoy your class. 

What to expect:  

Dancers will start with learning grooves, choreography, dancing to counts, and finally to music.  
A typical class format based on our 50 minute classes looks like this: 
- 10 minutes to warm up. 
- 30 minutes to learn a dance routine. 
- 10 minutes to perform the dance routine.  

When to Arrive:  

Arrive 10 minutes before your class begins.  not only is this courteous, but it allows the dancers to get comfortable in the dance space prior to instruction.  It also gives them opportunities to chat with the teacher about questions from the prior week's class.  

Where to go: 

Studio T classes are offered at the following locations:
TUESDAYS | WEDNESDAYS - river city christian (formerly First Covenant Church), 10933 Progress Court, Rancho Cordova, CA

What to Wear:    

Shoes: Regular athletic sneakers     
Clothing: Sweatpants or other loose-fitting athletic pants, and a tank top or t-shirt.    
Jewelry: Consider going light on the jewelry, or skipping it altogether.  


Water: Bring in a bottle that closes securely, 4 - 8 oz. per dance hour.  Studio T sells bottled water for $1 should you forget to bring water from home.    
Snack: NO Food, gum, and colored/flavored beverages allowed in the dance studios.  however, If you think you'll be hungry before or after class, remember to bring something with you to snack on outside or in the lobby area.     
Other: A gym towel may come in handy and A dance bag large enough to contain ALL of your belongings
